LIFE AND DEATH STRUGGLE
On the forest track, between the northern end of Gerroa and Berry Beach, tall palms, beautiful blackbutts and the occasional bushwalker witness this brutal contest. The towering blackbutts show their age and evidence a fierce fire that once ravaged the beauty of this tropical coastal strip.

WHAT IS THIS?
Any clues on what this form of marine life is, found on Seven Mile Beach? My guess is a cuttlefish without the cone. The tasty tentacles may have ended up in the stomachs of hungry fish.
