WHERE DOES THE ROAD GO TO?

Yes … into the inland lake created by recent heavy rain. The red arrow is Bolong Rd Bomaderry, north of Nowra, the main road to Mt Coolangatta, Shoalhaven Heads, Gerroa and Kiama. Before the floods, the only water visible was the Shoalhaven River on the right of the photo with the Pacific Ocean in the distance.

That’s a lot of water and it goes to waste! We need to become smarter in water management.

Shoalhaven Council is seeking interested groups and individuals to join its Floodplain Risk Management and Coastal Management Program Advisory Committee.
