For me – vital! They are precious moments. I’ll make space in my day to have fun with my grandchildren whenever I can. Whether it’s chasing them around a playground, swimming at the beach, reading books, or introducing them to the highly skilled activity of catching yabbies, they are times I know they love.

Introducing these little wonder- seekers to the mysteries of nature, not present in city living is a responsibility and privilege I’m not prepared to forgo. It builds relationships that last.

Someone said, “We need children with their hope of the future, parents with their understanding of the present, and grandparents with their memories of the past.”
