MARRIAGE IS LIKE A DECK OF CARDS

I like to capture clever quotes. My ageing memory refuses to reveal where I took this jaundiced reflection. Some might say the author is a bit of a ‘card’ – and should be dealt with!! So much for the bad ‘dad’ joke.

After 43 years of immeasurable patience from a loving wife, I remain a happily married man. In spite of squeaky joints, fading memory and considerable hair loss, these are the best years of our relationship – truly blessed.
