Western media tend not to report good news stories, especially from Palestine/Israel. This is believed to be the largest women’s dress in the world, 22 metres high and a circumference of 60 metres was created by Israeli artist Adi Yekutieli. This is its premiere showing near the Dead Sea to honour the thousands of women who joined the two week march through parts of Israel and the West Bank to rally in Jerusalem. Many participants have been affected by violence in the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. One organiser of the ‘Women Wage Peace’ march said, “This march is not just another protest, but a way of saying that we want peace, and together we can obtain it.” (Source: Times of Israel)
