THE TATTOOIST OF AUSCHWITZ

I have just finished reading “The Tattooist of Auschwitz” by Australian author Heather Morris. Having visited Auschwitz and Birkenau, I will never forget the sense of evil I felt as I walked through the entrance gates.

It returned, as I walked with Lyle, the protagonist, through hell on earth, in his attempt to survive ‘Hitler’s final solution’. This inspirational book needs to be read. A plaque in Auschwitz states, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” Lest we forget.
