THE RATCATCHER'S GRANDSON
The large gathering at Zia’s Café Kiama today, witnessed the launch of octogenarian, Barry White’s sixties travel memoir, The Ratcatcher’s Grandson. Barry recounts his days as a young plumber, leaving Australia for Canada in 1960 to wander the world. The book chronicles his humour, resourcefulness, and entertaining adventures. It gives insight into life during the cold war era. It's next on my list to read!
Warning was given as to his use of robust language and Australian slang, which is an integral part of the story. The book is available on Amazon in both Kindle and paperback.
Tahlia Newland, editor and publisher (seated) is with Barry at the table.
Another book to add to AIA Publishing's growing collection.
