SEASONS OF LIFE
When I look at the rockery, I know it's Spring. When I consider my body, I know it's Autumn.
For that reason and other considerations, we have sold our home here at Gerroa and plan to downsize to a unit/townhouse within the local region.
The consequences of this event that rank high on the Mental Health Stress Scale will mean my counselling career of 41 years will come to a conclusion.
The hours I currently spend in private practice and home maintenance will be reinvested in more time with my wife, writing, travel, grandchildren, cycling and selected water sports.
There are seasons in life and with every transition grief and excitement are present, signifying the value of what was, and the possibilities of what might be.
The journey continues.
And on further thought, if you’re looking for a Christmas gift for family members or a friend, I can supply you with an autographed copy of Out of Latvia or Wall of Tears.
