THE ANSWER IS ...

The answer to yesterday’s Midweek Mystery Question is …


The object is used for baking teacakes! Some old school cooks can tell us how and when it’s used. That’s something I couldn’t source.


Similar shaped objects are used in working with textiles such as a ‘Dry Felting Tool’, tenderising meat, and poking belly pork. Not doubt there are many other useful applications if you have one sitting on a kitchen shelf or a garage bench.
