Wishing you a Happy New Year
A poem from my dear friend Bobby Burnett - Shawnee, Oklahoma.
What a year 2020 has been,
Almost time to come to an end.
The Pestilence has taken it’s toll,
While markets continue to roll.
People still looking for a stimulus Check,
Locked up in a political bottleneck.
Election day is now in the past,
How much longer will the counting last?
Getting accustomed to wearing a mask,
Breathing all covered is quite a task.
Forbidding groups from getting together,
Germs are catching in this cold weather.
How much longer will COVID last?
Why worry? "This too shall pass."
